Tasnim - Iranian national football team coach Carlos Queiroz is unsure over his future, saying he hopes to return to Iran after the 2014 World Cup.
Queiroz's contract expires next month and reports have suggested that he could leave his role to take charge of South Africa for a second time.
Iran football team flew to Brazil on early Tuesday to take part in the 2014 World Cup.
Queiroz said that he is just concentrating on World Cup at the moment.
Tasnim news agency correspondent asked him if he returns to Iran after the World Cup and Queiroz said, “I hope I will return to Iran after the World Cup.”
Iran has been drawn in Group F along with Nigeria, Argentina and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Asian powerhouse will play Nigeria in Curitiba in its opening match on June 16.
Iran will face Argentina and Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 21 and June 25, respectively.
