PLDC - Maringa, Iran defeat Paraguay 6-2 for third place in the 2013 edition of the Futsal Grand Prix in Brazil.

Iran's starting line up included: Esmaeil Abbasian, Vahid Shajiei, Ali Asghar Hassanzadeh, Masoud Danshour and Farhad Tavakoli.

In the starting minutes, Bahadori scored two quick goals for Iran. Only 18 seconds before the half time whistle, Javad Asghari Moghadam scored another goal for Iran.

Paraguay started strong in the second half, and scored two goals in five minute and minimized the margin between the two teams. But Farhad Fakhim and Ghodrat Bahadori (two more goals) sealed the victory for Iran. Bahadori scored a total of four goals for Iran.

Despite never having won this tournament, Iran is its third most successful team, having become runner ups in 2007 and 2009, third place this year, and fourth in 2010 and 2011.
