PLDC - Maringa, Iran draw their first game of the 2013 Futsal Grand Prix against Argentina.

Iran's starting line-up included: Alireza Abbasian, Alireza Vafaei, Hossein Teyebi, Ali Asghar Hassanzadeh, and Farhad Tavakoli.
Argentina scored first on Iran, at the beginning of the first half, but with Farhad Tavakoli and Vahid Shafiei scoring a goal each, Iran went into the locker-rooms with a one goal lead at half time.

The Argentinians were able to gain one point from this match, as they scored the equalizer five minutes before the final whistle.

This group's other match ended 7-2 in Brazil's favour against Japan. Elsewhere, Russia defeated Guatemala 4-0, and Paraguay defeated Serbia 2-1.

Iran will play Japan on Thursday at 2:30 AM Tehran Time.
