Sepahan will represent Iran in West Asian soccer meet

IRNA - Iran Pro League (IPL) Organization announced the IPL Board of Directors, acting head of Iran's Football Federation (IFF) and National Olympic Committee (NOC) unanimously agreed Sunday that the Isfahan-based squad Sepahan would represent the country in the West Asian matches. 
Due to successful performance of Sepahan in IPL competitions, the members of Iran Pro League Board of Directors decided to nominate the Isfahani side as the representative of the country in the West Asian Games to be held in Syria in late March 2003. Mohammad Daadkan, IFF acting president, and NOC officials agreed with the decision.
