Regarding his impression of returning to Iran and his presence in Team Melli, Daniel Davari said, “It was a good experience; I visited my family and was very happy. Working with Team Melli and being with the national jersey wearers was very lovely. In general, the trip to Iran was very positive for me.”
He further added that, “I found very good friends and and I will try to learn how to speak Persian as soon as possible, so I can have better interactions with my teammates.”
Also, when asked about rumours of him being annoyed since he didn't get to play against Thailand, he pointed out, “I don’t know who has spread these rumours. I have never thought about these matters. It is a great honour for me to be a small member of Team Melli so I can bring glory to my country. I do my best in training to contribute to Team Melli and I will always accept the invitations of my coaches.”
