Ashkan Dejagah - Aston Villa

PLDC - Birmingham, The Cottagers were able to gain three away points and pull themselves a little out of the hole.

Fulham visited Aston Villa in Villa Park, and defeated their hosts 2-1 in front of 33,532 spectators.

The first half of this match ended in a goalless draw, but the second half proved to be a better showing, specially with Iranian international Ashkan Dejagah replacing Kasami in the 46th minute.

In the 61st minute, Dejagah made a swift pass to Richardson just outside the box, and the Englishman made no mistake and converted this chance into a goal.

However, just nine minutes later Holt tied the match for Aston Villa with a header from a corner kick.

In last few minutes of the match, Rodallega answered Holt's header, with a South American style header of his own, and gave Fulham three very crucial points.

Fulham is now placed in the 18th position in the EPL, with 27 points from 33 matches. The Cottagers will host Norwich City next Saturday and look to gain another three points.
