World Cup 2014 Seed

PLDC - Tehran, FIFA has released the top seeding for the World Cup draw.


The first pot of the 2014 FIFA World Cup will include: hosts Brazil + the top seven ranked teams in the world : Spain, Germany, Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, Switzerland, Uruguay (if they defeat Jordan in play-offs).

This time around, Italy, England, and Netherlands are not in the first pot because of their drop in ranking.

The complete list for the pots is not yet released by FIFA, but Iran will be placed in the pot with Japan, South Korea, Australia, USA, Costa Rica, Honduras and Mexico or New Zealand (play-off winner).
