Esteghlal lost to Naft in Azadi Stadium and dropped down to the fourth spot in the table. Naft moved up to the third spot and is now ahead of Esteghlal by one point. Hadi Norouzi scored the lone goal of the match in the 90+1 minute and gave the visitors three crucial points.
Persepolis visited struggling Damash in Rasht, and managed to defeat their hosts 1-0, with a lone goal from Abbaszadeh (31'). The Reds are now second in the IPL with 51 points.
Sepahan hosted Saipa in Fooladshahr Stadium and this match ended 2-2. Omid Ebrahimi and Sharifi scored for Sepahan, and Shahbazzadeh and K. Rezaei scored the two goals for Saipa.
Foolad defeated Tractor Sazi 2-1 in Ghadir Stadium. Ansarifard gave the visitors the lead in the 9th minute, but Foolad was awarded two penalties in the 33rd and 74th minutes of the match, and both these chances were converted to goals by Badrlou. With this victory, Foolad is now first in the IPL.
Elsewhere, Rah Ahan defeated Esteghlal Khuzestan 1-0; Saba defeated Zob Ahan 2-1; Fajr vs Mes ended 1-1; and Gostaresh lost 2-1 at home to Malavan.
