PLDC - Tehran, Regarding Team Melli’s schedule for gearing up for the World Cup, Mehdi Mohammad Nabi, the general secretary of Iran Football Federation, said “Team Melli will leave for South Africa on April 13 to hold its first overseas camp.

Preparatory operations for this trip such as securing financial resources for this Camp have been already done and even 30% of the installment for holding this Camp has been covered, so we will definitely leave for this Camp.”

Be referring to the fact that Team Melli’s list of players will be announced one day after the end of the Pro League so that the players get ready for the African camp, he added “Team Melli’s camp will take about 3 weeks in South Africa and over this period of time, we will play against 4 teams including 3 teams form South Africa professional League and also Mozambique National Team.”
