Payam Sadeghian

PLDC - Tehran, Payam Sadeghian and Reza Haghighi scuffled with each other during the friendly match against Naft Tehran and brawled. During this scuffle, Haghighi’s shirt was torn and Mohammad Daei, one of the Persepolis’ coaches, separated them and sent them out of the pitch.

Apparently, these two players continued fighting outside the stadium.

Expressing his regret for the brawling of Sadeghian and Haghighi, Ali Daei added, “Unfortunately, it was a bad event in this match and I am sure that we will decide on this event after Norooz ‘new year’.”

Explaining the brawling of two players, Daei said, “Unfortunately, our players are under great pressure. They have not received any money for several months and they are empty handed before the Eve of Norooz.”

Finally, he asserted that, “Surely, it is effective in the brawling of the players, but Sadeghian and Haghighi should have not fought, although they were under pressure. We will decide on it.”

The match ends in 1-1 draw.
