Tasnim - NEC midfielder Alireza Jahanbakhsh admitted he is pleased to be pursued by Manchester United.
“It's flattering when Manchester United talks very well about you and I’m feeling good when I read in media that they want me. It’s interesting for me and my friends talked about that with me but at the moment I cannot take it seriously,” Jahanbakhsh told the Tasnim news agency.
“My agent and club have not talked about that with me. I’ve signed a three-year contract with NEC. Also, I am concentrating on Iran football team at the moment ahead of the 2014 World Cup,” Iran striker added.
“I believe that you have to walk step by step. I’d rather walk slowly than taking 10 steps, otherwise I am forced to stop. Manchester United is a big incentive and I will work hard to gain more success,” Jahanbakhsh stated.
“To join Manchester United is in my hand… If you want something you have to do your best to make it,” Jahanbakhsh concluded.
