PLDC - Tehran, After the sudden separation of Omid Namazi from Team Melli’s technical cadre, speculations about the selection of an Iranian assistance have been brought up.

Different names were mentioned yesterday, but the most serious candidate to be the new Team Melli assistant was Majid Saleh.

By confirming the news, Ali Kaffashian, the head of IFF, said, “Saleh is one of the choices of Queiroz, but there are other choices and it is Queiroz himself who has to make the final decision. He will announce his final choice."

It is worth mentioning that in the early days of Queiroz's presence in Iran’s football, Saleh's name was brought up, but in an unexpected decision Omid Namazi was selected.
