Tasnim - Kuwait national football team coach Jorvan Vieira said they are ready to defeat Iran in the AFC Asian Cup qualifier.

The match will be played at the Enghelab Stadium in Karaj, located west of Tehran on Monday.

“I and Carlos Queiroz have a good opportunity to field our young players since Iran and Kuwait have already qualified for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup,” Jorvan Vieira said in the pre-match press conference.

“We are not tourist here. Kuwait is ready to beat Iran. Victory against Iran will not change our place in the group but we are going to improve our place in the FIFA and AFC rankings. I hope we show a good performance against Iran and satisfy our fans,” the Brazilian coach added.

Iran and Kuwait have already qualified for the competition ahead of Lebanon and Thailand in Group F.
