PLDC - Tehran, Sardar Azmoun says that he will do his best to make the most out of the opportunity of getting called up for Team Melli for the first time.

Sardar Azmoun has arrived in Tehran and joined Team Melli's training camp. He is very happy and exited to join his country's national team.

Azmoun said, "It is every player's wish to get called up for his national team. I am happy, and I don't want to waste the opportunity to prove myself."

Regarding his goal in the Russian league, Azmoun said, "I am proud to have scored this goal. I thank God , because by scoring this goal I can start my duty for my country on a high note. I should also add that it is every player's wish to due well in European leagues."

Before entering the field to practice, Azmoun had a few words with Queiroz, and had this to say, "He (CQ) told me that I must attend the U21 national team's matches, and that after recovering he will have me back. I hope I can help the U21 national team reach the next level of the Asian competition."

He continued, "One of my ambitions was to play along side the great footballers of Iran. Now that my wish has come true, I hope to stay among them."
