He said Iran and the US will be among four teams to play in the tournament.

Iran has other programs to play football matches with South American and European states, he said.

Iran is to host an international conference from November 6-7 with participation of top officials from Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and experts from Asian Football Confederation (AFC), he said.

The participants in the conference will inspect the country’s football infrastructures and also meet with the Iranian president and sport minister.
