PLDC - Doha, Ferydoon Zandi says he wants to continue playing football after he recovers from his injury.
In an interview with Al Kass, Zandi has publicized that he is hopeful and that he won't give up his hopes to continue playing professionally.
There have been speculations that his severe leg injury may force the Iranian player to retire from professional football. But Zandi has said that he hopes to return to the field by the end of the season.
He said, "I will be released from hospital soon, but I will still be under the watch of medical specialists and team doctors."
When Zandi was asked whether or not he is upset with Dorde Dikanovic (the defender that caused Zandi's leg to break), he replied, "This player came to visit me in the hospital, and injuries are a part of football."
This injury has been the most severe of Zandi's career, and doctors have said that he will be out for at least six months.
