PLDC - Tehran, The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) adopted the “Persian Gulf” in its announcement of the Persian Gulf region Arab countries.

While the authorities of Emirate Football Federation had adopted the fabricated name of the “A r a b i c Gulf” as the name for their professional football league in a slay action, FIFA registered the name of the Persian Gulf as the maritime neighbor in the part introducing Emirate country following a letter of protest by Iran against the fabricated name.
