PLDC - Tehran, Afazeli has been assigned as the technical manager for U-22 football team through an order issued by Kaffashian.

This coach has signed a contract with the Football Federation until the end of the current year.

Alireza Mansourian is in charge of this team. Afazeli has been part of Team Melli cadres at two different times: with Branko Ivankovic and Ali Daei.

After the separation of Gholam Hossein Peyrovani from Team Melli Omid, Afazeli also led this team.

He was also the head coach of Steel Azin and Shahab Zanjan in the first division, for one and three years, respectively.
