PLDC - Tehran, The Iranian Football Federation has officially filed a complaint to FIFA against the United Arab Emirates for their name falsification of the Persian Gulf.

The president of the Union of Football Leagues, Alireza Mohammadi said, "Yesterday, I had a meeting with Kafashian, Taj, and Ayatollahi, with the presence of legal experts. In this meeting we wrote an official complaint against the United Arab Emirate's federation for changing the name of its league to a false representation of the Persian Gulf. We will soon send this letter to FIFA."
