PLDC - Sabadell, Masoud Shojaei scored the first goal for UD Las Palmas in their 3-1 victory over Sabadell FC in the 2013-2014 edition of the Copa del Rey.

In his first appearance for UD Las Palmas, the Iranian scored for the Canary Islands team, in the second round of the Copa del Rey.

The goal scorers for Las Palmas were Shojaei (15'), Asdrubal (83') and Tato (90+2'). And Gato scored for Sabadell FC in the 51st minute from the penalty spot.

In 1978 UD Las Palmas was the runners-up of the Copa del Rey.
