PLDC - Berlin, Berliner AK's Iranian forward scores in the club's derby to secure a victory.

Berliner AK 07 defeated Hertha BSC II in the Regionalliga Nordost league by a score of 3-0.  In this match, German born Iranian forward, Kiyan Soltanpour, was able to score one of the goals in the 26th minute. The other two goals for Berliner AK came from Siemund (22') and Cepni (39').

There has been speculations that the 24-year-old Soltanpour has been considered for a call up to one of Team Melli's camps by Carlos Queiroz. This performance is sure to increase his chances of representing his motherland in the international stage.

The Regionalliga Nordost is the fourth tier of the German football league pyramid.
