PLDC - Liege, Reza Ghoochannejhad is under Bundesliga 2 German club's radar.
Fortuna Düsseldorf has had offensive problems this season, as their strikers are not scoring enough for their club. On the other hand, Reza Ghoochannejhad hasn't been given as much playing time as he likes, because his current club, Standard Liege, has an abundance of strikers, therefore he is looking to go to a club that can offer him more playing time so he can showcase his true striking ability.
A German newspaper has suggested that Gucci is seriously being considered by Fortuna Düsseldorf.
The newspaper published, "One of the club's (Fortuna Düsseldorf) most serious candidates is Iranian-Dutch striker, Reza Ghoochannejhad. The 25-year-old striker who wears the number 4, is likely to join Fortuna Düsseldorf on a loan. His value on the transfer market is 1.2 million Euros. He has become a legend in Iran due to his goal against South Korea that took Iran to 2014 World Cup."
The German newspaper also printed, "Ghoochannejhad has also played for Sint-Truiden in Belgium, and and Cambuur in Netherlands. He was born in Iran but immigrated to the Netherlands at a young age. He was also in the Dutch U-19 national team, but then decided to join Iran's senior national team."
