PLDC- Esfahan, The chairman of Sepahan has announced that his club will either play in Naghshe Jahan Stadium or Nasiri Stadium in Yazd.
In a letter to Iran's League Commissioner (Mehdi Taj), the chairman of Sepahan has said that his club will play its home-games in the second half of the season in either Naghshe Jahan Stadium or Nasiri Stadium, in Yazd, a city two hours away from Esfahan.
Sepahan has been playing its home-games in Fooladshahr Stadium, which has a 12,000 seat capacity. Naghshe Jahan Stadium has been under renovation to expand its capacity, since 2007, and its completion has been postponed time and time again.
When finished Naghshe Jahan will have a capacity of 75,000. But it seems that Sepahan is tired of waiting for this stadium to be completed and has proposed that if Naghshe Jahan is not ready for use before the start of the second half of the season, then the club will move its home-games to Nasiri Stadium in Yazd, which has a capacity of 30,000.
