PLDC - Tehran, Esteghlal's coach has announced that Andranik Teymourian will most likely miss the match against Damash in Rasht.

Ghalenoei said, "There is a 90 percent chance that Teymourian will miss the match against Damash. Beikzadeh, Samuel, and Jamshidian will also miss the match due to injuries."

Ando has decided not to play until he is paid what he is owed by the club. Club chairman, Fathollahzadeh, has pleaded to fans to donate money so that Esteghlal can pay Teymourian.

Regarding Azodi Stadium's artificial grass, Ghalenoei said, "This is just our luck, that we have to play on artificial grass before our Champions League match. It would have been better if we played on real grass."

He concluded, "Every match has its own specific conditions, and after analyzing them (Damash), we have come to the realization that they are a team with plans and thought-out tactics. For this reason, we know that they have an intelligent coach, but for Thursday's match we will be using bench players."
