PLDC - Tehran, After Farhad Majidi announced his retirement from football, one of Esteghlal's young supporters died from a heart attack.
It was a bitter incident. Ahmad Mazaheri Yeganeh, a fan who was always present in Esteghlal's practices, has gone up to the sky, and has made his family mourners. Ahmad was a sincere and dedicated supporter of The Blues and his club meant everything to him.
Ahmad was one of the spectators of Esteghlal vs Mes, and he witnessed Majidi's surprise retirement. This incident caused him to cry and become severely depressed. He didn't eat for several days and didn't talk to anyone, until he finally had a heart attack. His family took him to the hospital and he was put in CCU.
While he was in the hospital, he was asked whether he wanted to speak to Majidi on the phone- he nodded in agreement. An hour later, Ahmad flew to the blue skies to meet his maker.
Persian League would like to offer our deepest condolences to Ahmad's family during this extremely difficult time for them.
Dear Ahmad, Rest in Paradise brother.
