PLDC - Tehran, Mehdi Taj and Carlos Queiroz had a meeting with Ali Kafashian and other officials present, and were able to come to terms.
Mehdi Taj has accepted the schedule made by Queiroz and says that it is possible to implement this plan.
Taj explains, "I saw Queiroz's schedule and I believe that it is a good one. We can implement this schedule."
The Iranian Football Federation is also proposing an alternate schedule for Champions League matches to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The schedule made by the AFC clashes with Team Melli's preparation camps for WC 2014, and Carlos Queiroz, who has criticized the confederation for this, has an alternate schedule that would make more sense for Iran and other Asian teams who have qualified for the World Cup.
The ten million dollars that the Iranian Football Federation is supposed receive for qualifying to the World Cup, has not yet been given to the federation and hence sponsors must support Iran for training camps and facilities.
