PLDC - Tehran, Ali Kafashian met with Iran's U17 national team officials within regards to scheduling, budgeting and the World Cup.
Iran's U17 national team will take part in the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, which will happen between 17 October and 8 November.
The team's officials met with the head of the Iranian Football Federation (Ali Kafashian) and made clear their needs and requirements for the tournament and the preparation for it.
The U17 Team Melli will travel to Uzbekistan for a friendly in August. They will also play Belarus in September in Iran as a preparation for the tournament.
Iran has been in the U17 World Cup in 2001 and 2009. They made it to the round of 16 in 2009 after defeating Gambia 2-0, drawing Colombia 0-0, and surprising the world by defeating the Netherlands 1-0, with a goal from Milad Gharibi who was signed by Persepolis this season.
