PLDC - Maringa, Brazil defeated Iran 7-2 for its third consecutive victory in the 2013 edition of the Futsal Grand Prix.

Iran's goalscorers were Bahadori and Hassanzadeh, and Falcao (3 goals), Fernandinho, Zico, Daniel and Dyego scored for Brazil.
The lights of the arena went out, and it took fifteen minutes for them to turn back on, and for the match to resume.

In the group's other match, Argentina defeated Japan 2-1. Both Iran and Argentina finished the group stage matches with four points, but Iran will advance to the next round because of a lower goal deficit.

On Saturday, Iran will play Russia, and Brazil will take on Paraguay in the semi-finals of this tournament.
