PLDC - Almelo, NEC tied Heracles in Polman Stadion in the presence of 8320 spectators in the Dutch Premier League (Eredivisie).

Rens van Eijden scored an early goal in the second minute of action, and gave NEC the lead.

Janssen subbed out Jantscher in the 55th minute, and brought in the young Iranian international, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, to replace him.

NEC failed to gain three points, as Streutker scored a late equalizer for Heracles in the 87th minute and gave the hosts one sweet point.

Voetbalzone, the most famous football news website in Netherlands, named Jahanbakhsh as NEC's player of the match.

NEC will host Heerenveen in Nijmegen's Goffertstadion on Friday, October 25th.
