TEHRANTIMES - Iconic midfielder Mojtaba Jabbari made a shock move from Esteghlal to Sepahan on Saturday.

Jabbari joined the Isfahan-based team on a one-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

Jabbari’s contract ran out at the end of the 2012–13 season but Esteghlal found him surplus to requirements.

“I was forced to leave Esteghlal after nine years. The team’s officials disrespected me on their site and didn’t apologize to me after two weeks,” Jabbari was quoted as saying by the Iranian media.
