TEHRANTIMES - Iran futsal team won the title of the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games for fourth time in a row.

The Iranian team beat Japan 5-2 on Saturday at the Songdo Global University Campus Gymnasium in the city of Incheon, South Korea.

Alireza Vafaei (two goals), Aliasghar Hassanzadeh, Mohammad Taheri and Vahid Shafiei scored goals in the match.

The Iranian women’s football team had lost to Japan 2-1 in the final match on Friday.

Thailand also defeated Kuwait 9-6 in the bronze medal match.
