PLDC - Ahvaz, With only 16 days left until AFC inspectors arrive in Ahvaz, Ghadir Stadium is incomplete and not up to standard.

The Iranian Football Federation's own inspector has found more than 20 problems and defects with Ghadir Stadium and its facilities, and has informed Foolad officials that the club only has 16 days to resolve these issues and complete this 50,000-seater stadium.

Some of the defects of this facility include: lack of a scoreboard, lack of broadcasting equipment and facilities, and lack of special sections for the press.

Meanwhile Ghadir Stadium has been under renovations for a few years, Foolad has been playing in the 30,000-seater Takhti Stadium in Ahvaz.

Besides the probability of Foolad losing its spot for the 2014 AFC Champions League, these complications and unresolved issues may also seriously affect Iran's bid for the 2019 Asian Cup.
