Queiroz - Air Port

PLDC - Tehran, Carlos Queiroz has left Iran and has said that if his plans are not implemented then he will not return.

The Team Melli coach left Iran on Saturday, to go to Portugal as he needs to take care of some personal things. It has been reported that he has left with a lot of luggage so many speculate that he is getting ready to quit, if the federation doesn't find the resources to hold enough camps for Team Melli.

Carlos Queiroz and his assistants have also not been paid in several months. At the airport Queiroz was asked whether or not he will return to Iran and he replied, "If things don't improve and the federation doesn't provide the money for our camps, and if me and my assistants don't get paid, then I will not return to Iran."

Team Melli assistants: Omid Namazi, Dan Gaspar, and Antonio Simoes will also leave Iran in the next few days.

Carlos Queiroz will stay in Portugal til the federation provides the money for Team Melli's camps and coaches. The Team Melli boss clarified, "I am worried for Team Melli and the people of a country that I love. If these things are not provided all I can say is 'goodbye Iran'."
