NEC's coach is the first to be sacked in new football season

Dutchnews - Nijmegen football club NEC has sacked coach Alex Pastoor just three games into the new season.


NEC has failed to pick up a point so far, and was beaten 5-1 at home by PEC Zwolle on Saturday.

Pastor took first division club Excelsior to the Eredivisie in 2010 and stayed with the club one season before moving to NEC. In March, he renewed his contract until 2014.

NEC hired Iranian youngster Alireza Jahanbakhsh this summer.
