Andranik Teymourian suffers hand injury



TEHRANTIMES - Iran midfielder Andranik Teymourian suffered a hand injury during match against South Korea in the 2014 World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.


Iran edged past the South Korean football team at the Munsu Football Stadium in Ulsan thanks to Reza Ghuchannejad’s winning goal.

“I will undergo an MRI to find out the extent of the damage soon,” Teymourian told the reporters at Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport on Wednesday.

Iran has qualified for the World Cup four fourth time.
