PLDC - Tehran, After Esteghlal's victory against Saba, Mehdi Rahmati congratulated fans on the clubs victory.

Rahmati said, "Our team was tired  because of successive games with little time to rest, but thank God, we were able to gain three points."

He continued, "I must thank Hamid Babazadeh (goalkeeper coach). I wasn't at an ideal condition after two months of training, and he helped me reach the best possible conditions. I would like to dedicate this victory to Babazadeh."

The Esteghlal goalkeeper also criticized his team's kits, "Uhlsport kits aren't even worth one penny! These kits are from three years ago and the quality is very low, but we are forced to wear them because they are the official sponsor."

He also commented on the league balls, and complained, "These balls are useless. They constantly get stuck under hands and feet, and the reddish colour is more suitable for snow, not this environment."
