Mirzapour joins Saipa



TehranTimes - Ebrahim Mirzapour joined Saipa on a one-year contract on Sunday.


The former Iran goalkeeper has returned to Saipa for second stint. Mirzapour was a member of the Karaj-based team during 2008-10 seasons.

“I am happy to join Saipa, however the other teams wanted me. I want to wear the No. 1 jersey in the team,” Mirzapour said.

“I want to return to Iran football team, that’s why I am here. I will do my best in Saipa,” the 36-year-old goalie said.

Mirzapour has played 75 times for Iran football team.
