PLDC - Tehran, Team Melli boss, Carlos Queiroz, rejects Qatar Football Federation's invitation for a friendly, even though the Qataris are willing to pay Iran's travel and accommodation expenses.

Queiroz has told Iran's football federation that he is only willing to play friendly matches against two AFC teams: Japan and Australia.

There had also been suggestions to play Iraq and South Korea, which Carlos Queiroz rejected.

Iran will most likely hold a camp in Portugal in the coming month and will play a couple of friendly matches. No names of countries or clubs have been announced yet.
