PLDC - Tehran, The Asian Football Confederation has warned Esteghlal through the Iranian Football Federation because of the pending contracts of two foreign players.

The AFC has told Esteghlal to finalize player contracts so that Goran Lovre and Karrar Jassim can appear in Champions League matches.

Iran's chairman of the committee for tournaments and the caretaker of  Champions League matches, Shahin Rahmani said, "All the teams knew that they should have handed in their paper work to AFC for newly signed players by July 21st."

Esteghlal has sent all their players' documents to AFC, except the newly signed Lovre ad Karrar. The club has been given an extension to complete this task.
