PLDC - Dubai, Khalatbari’s contract was officially signed in the presence of Khalifa Al Jerman, the chairman of Ajman Club, and he joined the Club.

Khalatbari joined this Emirati Team that in a strange move, the officials of this Arabic country falsified the name of the league of this country from the Etisalat pro-league  to UAE A r a b i a n Gulf League. In a reaction to the presence of Khalatbari, some Arabic websites like Elaph Website cited that Khalatbari has bypassed sanctions and joined Emirates Ajman.

The chairman of Ajman Club said,” Khalatbari is a great achievement for us. He is one of the four Asian players we liked to sign a contract with them. We had good negotiations with him over the few days and finally he decided to make the appropriate decision and select Ajman as his future team. Abdul Alwab Abdulkadir, the  Manager of the team, was also optimistic regarding Khalatbari and liked to recruit him.”

According to ISNA, Khalatbari announced that his contract with Ajman had been signed before the change of the Emirati league name.

Khalatbari spent six months on loan at the Al Wasl under Diego Maradona in 2012.
