PLDC - Kerman, After being violently attacked by Mes fans at a training session, Mojtaba Taghavi could no longer stay at his post as the head coach of the club.

With only two days til the start of the new season of the Persian Gulf Cup (Iran Pro League), Taghavi was separated from Mes Kerman. Today, he did not show up to the club's training session and instead sent one of his assistants.

The team's physical trainer, Rahimpour said,"Mojtaba Taghavi has resigned and he won't be coming to anymore training sessions. Out of respect for him, I held the training today."

After a meeting with the club's board of directors, Taghavi said, "it was no longer possible for me to stay in Kerman."
