PLDC - Doha, After Iran's sweet victory in Doha against a very determined Qatari side, Carlos Queiroz gave his thoughts about the game and the next two vital qualification matches.

Even though he was proud of his players, he confirmed, "Our job is not done. We must stay united to reach our goals. It was a good game and our players fought for their country and people. Everyone must believe in this team and respect the players."

He added, "Qatar was a strong side and we managed to get three points from them... We need to believe in each other and stay united so we can reach our goal."

Reza Ghoochannejad AKA Gucci, the lone scorer of the match was also interviewed after the match and he said, "It was a beautiful game. I think we must congratulate Carlos Queiroz on his effective system. Everyone played well and we were able to bring joy to the people of Iran.

Our win against Qatar brought us closer to our goal, but we are not fully there yet. This is just the beginning for us and we will only be satisfied when we qualify for the World Cup. We will not dwell on this victory, and as of now we are focusing on Lebanon."
