DOHA - Iran's national football team is due to arrive in Doha tomorrow, on Sunday ahead of their clash with Qatar for the penultimate game of the Asian World Cup qualifiers.

The two sides who face off on Tuesday night are levelled on seven points at third place behind leaders Uzbekistan at 11 points and South Korea at 10 points. Lebanon are bottom of the group with four points.

In the other game of group A, Lebanon host South Korea in Beirut on the same day.

The top two teams of the group will qualify for the World Cup in Brazil, while the third will face their counterparts in Group B in a playoff with the winner fighting for a World Cup berth in another playoff against South America's fifth-ranked side. (QNA)
