PLDC - Nijmegen, S. C. Damash has reached an agreement with the Dutch club NEC, about the details of Alireza Jahanbakhsh's transfer.

In an interview with PLDC, Amir Hashemi Moghadam (Jahanbakhsh's Manager) said, "They have come to terms and there are no barriers for Jahanbakhsh to join the Dutch club. Jahanbakhsh is in the progress of getting his VISA. Then he will go through  NEC's medical examination, then finally he will join the club's training camp.

He added, "NEC has excellent facilities and the opinions of the club's coach and technical committee is positive within regard to Jahanbakhsh. NEC's management had their eye on Alireza from watching his games in Dubai, during an Asian youth tourney and also in Qatar during an invitational cup. They also had their eyes on Sardar Azmoun and Yaghoub Karimi but due to some complications, they could not be pursued further. "

He continued, "Due to Jahanbakhsh's high technical capability there is a high chance of him being included in the fixed roster of the club. He will probably get the number seven jersey of the club. He will sign a three year contract, with a clause for a year extension."

Amir Hashemi Moghadam, who played for Esteghal, Team Melli, and also appeared in Hungarian and English leagues has high hopes for Jahanbakhsh. He also hopes that the Dutch league can be a bridge to higher European leagues for the player.

The chairman of S.C Damash, Amir Abedini said, "Alireza's transfer payout helped Damash get out of debt and a financial crisis."

Alireza Jahanbakhsh will be the first Iranian footballer to play in the Eredivisie. This league has a total of 18 teams and with 37 points, NEC claimed the 15th spot last season.

The 2013-2014 season of the Eredivisie will begin at the end of August.
