TEHRANTIMES – Gholamhossein Peyrovani was appointed as new coach of Fajr Sepasi football team on Tuesday.

The 58-year-old coach had been without a team after parted company with Abu Moslem last year.

Peyrovani returned for a second stint as coach of Fajr. He led the Shiraz-based team from 1999 to 2009.

Former Iran Olympic coach replaced Mahmoud Yavari in Fajr Sepasi.

Fajr Sepasi finished in 12th place in the Iranian Professional League last season.

“I want to thank Yavari for the work and his discipline he has done in the last two years. We wish him all the best,” Sepasi General Manager Jafar Jafari said.

Also, Hossein Faraki extended his contract with Foolad for another season. He was one of the nominees to take charge of Persepolis football team.
