PLDC - Ulsan, After Iran's victory of the South Korean national team in Ulsan, Carlos Queiroz said, "It was a hard match and we knew that we are going to be playing a good team. We were under great pressure and we knew that we were facing tough competition and fortunately my team played very confidence and careful."

He continued, "I had faith in my players and we had collectively decided that we are going to win this match."

When asked whether or not he would be Iran's coach during the World Cup in Brazil, he replied, "This is a question that only God can answer."

Quieroz also stated, "They (S.Korea) played very well and I would like to congratulate them. I am hopeful that one day we will play like the Korean team."
