TEHRANTIMES - Persepolis’ Brazilian keeper Nilson Correa may not be a member of the Iranian giant, according to Iranian media reports.

The 38-year-old goalie conceded two goals from close range in the match against Sepahan in Iran’s Hazfi Cup last week. Persepolis lastly lost to Sepahan in the penalty shootout.

Persepolis officials have announced some players are surplus to requirements at the football team. It seems the team’s officials are not going to extend the Brazilian’s contract and he is one the players who will leave Persepolis in the summer.

Nilson joined Persepolis on a one-year contract in last year’s July.

Nilson has already said he is happy being at Persepolis and is interested in staying with the Iranian popular team.
