TEHRANTIMES - Zlatko Kranjcar has poured cold water on suggestions he could leave Sepahan to join Persepolis.
The Croat, 56, is a candidate to replace Yahya Golmohammadi in Persepolis.
Sepahan claimed the Iran’s Hazfi Cup title last week after beating Persepolis in penalty shootout.
Kranjcar had also inspired Sepahan to win Iran Professional League (IPL) title last year.
“I’ve negotiated with Kranjcar one month ago and he agreed to stay here. We are satisfied with what he has done at our club,” Sepahan General Manager Alireza Rahimi said on Sunday.
Zlatko Kranjcar joined Persepolis in 2009 but was sacked after less than three months.
Persepolis officials are interested to hire former Montenegro coach once again.
