IPL 2013-14 campaign to start on July 13



TEHRANTIMES - Iran Football Federation revealed that the 2013-14 Iran Professional League (IPL) season will kick off on July 13.


Mehdi Taj, head of Iran’s league organization, said the new IPL season will start with participation of 16 teams from July 13.

At the end of the 2012-13 season, Esteghlal wrapped up the title, followed by Tractorsazi, Sepahan and Foolad.

Gaahr, Paykan, Naft and Aluminum were also relegated from the IPL.
