AFC - Iran sealed their slot in the AFC U-14 Championship 2014 finals after beating Pakistan 3-0 in their last Group D qualifying match at the Samen Al Aemeh Stadium on Monday.
Forward Mahdi Mohammadyari scored a brace with defender Zabihollah Mazouri also contributing a goal to help the hosts win their fourth straight win from as many matches in the group.
Pakistan finished second in the group having won three games out of four.
In another last-day match, India beat Turkmenistan also 3-0.
Iran are the sixth nation to have qualified for the finals of the inaugural continental U-14 competition after Korea Republic, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, DPR Korea and Iraq.
Forty-six nations are in the qualification and are divided into four zones of two groups each (total eight groups) with the top two teams from each zone (total eight teams) qualifying for the finals.

Iran – 12 points
Pakistan – 9 points
India – 6 points
Kyrgyzstan – 1 point
Turkmenistan – 1 point
